Full Moon at Feast of St. John

At Summer Solstice time, we come to the full out-breath of the Earth into cosmic spaces, and as in our own breathing, the out-breath is followed by a pause, before we begin the in-breath, drawing the air back in, or in the case of the Earth, drawing the cosmic forces back in. And while the pause in human breathing lasts but a moment, for the Earth, it seems to last about three days. This is measurable by the apparent motion of the Sun, and at this point in the cycle of the year, it rests in its northernmost position, like Humpty Dumpty, up on his wall ~ then it begins to fall back to the South.

Check local times for sunset and moonrise, and find balance in the extremes. On June 23rd the Moon will look Full as it rises a good 40 minutes before the Sun sets. On June 24th, after it’s Full, the Moon will rise 20 minutes after the Sun sets.

What mystery are you carrying into cosmic spaces?
